Meet the Team

Come and meet the M.A.S.T. team!

Chloe Clayson

ChloeClayson Chloe is new to our area and is looking forward to finding her way around the beautiful Dales.  Chloe has worked in a similar role in another area but moved here recently.

She writes: “I studied Early Years and Education as a foundation degree, alongside taking on the children and youth work at my church which I continued to do up until August 2020.  In 2019 I did a year-long ‘Applied Theology’ course with Moorlands Bible College alongside working with the church. During that year, I also trained with Walk Through the Bible which enables me to go into primary schools to teach 10 -11 year-olds an overview of the Bible and how it points to Jesus.”

Hannah Will

HannahWill

Hannah may be known to some of you as she has lived and worked in Derbyshire for most of her life.

Hannah says:

“Before coming to work for MAST, I spent 10 years working as a Primary School Classroom Teacher in both town and village schools. Following the birth of our children I continued to work as a supply or cover teacher. During recent months, like so many parents, I have found myself teaching my own children during periods of remote learning and isolation. Now, I am looking forward to using my teaching experience in the delivery of Collective Worship in Primary Schools in the Matlock Area. I love sharing the Christian Faith and Bible Stories with children in a fun, lively and engaging way. There are so many challenges that our children have to face and overcome in this world. But I believe that the Bible offers hope and wisdom which children can draw upon as they navigate through these difficulties.”

Rachel Hodges

Rachel started leading worship for MAST in October 2025.

Rachel has lived in Derbyshire all her life. She studied Early Years and learning support as a degree, alongside  working as a teaching assistant in a couple of local primary schools.

She has been involved in the children’s work at her church for many years, taking part in Sunday school, holiday clubs and evening children’s work.

Rachel is looking forward to using her varied experiences and skills in local schools, sharing the good news of the Christian faith.
